My entry to Hellfire Sculpting Club's 'Folklore Bestiary'. The Pope Lick Monster. Zbrush / Keyshot / Photoshop.
It has always intrigued me. A goat-man monster that stalks people from under a bridge in Pope Lick Creek, in the
Fisherville neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It's not your typical Bigfoot or werewolf type thing.
I was excited to make a hideously ugly and frightening version of this concept. I wanted a more humanoid hybrid feel, and less
goat-walking-upright.
